This city park is home to wonderful trails that are usually being utilized by hikers, bicyclists, or even people riding horseback. The trail loops around just over 2 miles and is home to some amazing scenery. This trail will help you work up a sweat as it is not easy but it is rewarding.
Along with it’s wonderful area, Rancho Penasquitos is located in the Poway Unified School District and homes Mount Carmel High School. Students who have attended Mount Carmel High School have most likely contributed to one of California’s highest graduation rates. Mount Carmel High School graduation rate is over 93% continues to improve each year.
